What is the status of the on site top soil sifting?
Top soil screening and soil amending operations are currently on pause. When the equipment returns to site, the contractor will be setup north of the abandoned farmyard at 9th Ave. and Fairway Rd. This work will resume in early to mid August and continue into September so they can stockpile amended top soil for Coopertown and other projects.
Construction Update: June and July 2026

Underground construction in Phase 1 of Coopertown is progressing as scheduled. The major June rain event has work shut down for over a week. Work will continue until freeze up.

Surfacing construction initiated in June on Rink Ave. and is progressing as scheduled. Streets will get concrete and asphalt starting in July and other streets will be completed right until freeze up in the Fall.

Shallow utilities (power, gas, and streetlights) will be initiated in late August and continue until freeze up.

The stormwater offsite connection at Fairway Rd. is scheduled for late summer and further updates will be provided closer to those scheduled dates.
